Hey! I got this gecko about a month ago, I think it's full grown. I don't have a picture of it's topside, but I wanted to post a picture of it's bottom so you guys can tell me whether it's male or female. It looks female to me.
also...the line down it's back isn't solid, it's almost like, dotted. Is that normal?
Okay, so I've read in a lot of places that these guys need a basking light. I haven't gotten one yet, they cost more than I can afford at the moment...anyone know where to get a cheaper one?
Also, shedding it's skin is a sign of good health right? Cause she did that last night.
She doesn't seem to have a very big appetite either, when I feed her crickets, it takes her a few days to eat them all, and I put in 3 at a time.
Is that normal or should I try feeding her something else?
You really need to get a basking light. That will help her digest the crickets faster so she will eat more. If you put 3 crickets in and she dosnt eat them by the next moring you sould take them back out in the morning. I would just feed her every other day.
Yeah I plan on getting one, I just need to find a cheap one, cause I don't have a lot of money right now. I have a wire mesh lid, can I just set a basking light right on it, or does it have to be clamped outside of it?
