Default What Tokay is this?

What Tokay is this? He's the guy from London Zoo. If I was going to get a Tokay it would be this type!

Thats just a normal tokay with bright colors. That is what my tokays look like.

Normal tokays change their base color all the time from pale blueish to brownish black;
it's those red dots where their individuality expresses more. Some have orange dots some dark red ones

Alot of people dont realize how drastic a tokay can change their colors depending on their mood. I have a hard time explaining that to some people that want a brightly colored tokay but all I can get is pictures of them while they are dark. I might start directing them to this thread because that is a really good example that stoph posted.

both mine are in their orange phase. the orange spots really stick out now, were a week or so ago they were very dark. i have heard calling too so my guess is more breeding. it has been a while since she last laid eggs.

Really jabberwock486 thats good news. I love these guys, it's just a shame they are aggressive most of the time!

I guess so thats why i love my veiled cham lol. I spose i like them to be 'wild' if thats how they are ment to be.

Hey cliff here's a picture you can use it's only a couple of minutes between the two shots...when she found out i was taking pics of her with flash, she turned dark.
You can tell by the rock that the light balance is a bit darker on the left pic.
