I wanted to know if the female tokay will lay eggs before introduced to a male or not? I have heard of some species laying infertile eggs without being introduced to males.
I have 2 females and 1 male, thy are separated 2 females in one tank male in another for now but when the male calls thy both seem interested. I plan on moving them into a single tank once the females are up to a decent weight.
not sure, but after about two months of introducing my female to my male they been producing eggs non stop from then on only one has been infertile and that was from the first pair but if you really want to find out, wait and see if any eggs are laid...........TOKAYS!
