Default our new family member

My 15 year old daughter just bought a tail-less Crested Gecko yesterday at the Reptile Expo held in Raleigh this past weekend. She fell in love with it and I coughed up the $60 which I hope was a decent deal-- if not, then oh well.

We are very excited, have him set up in his new home and are eager to be the best family he has ever had.

She hasn't decided on a name, but we are throwing about Peedie, and Piglet...

( we are very new to the reptile world, and are reading everything!)

Welcome to GU (and the gecko hobby in general). I think you'll find all the info you need (and more) in our crested gecko forum. Be aware, this is an addictive hobby

I think I know which one you purchased. Did you get it from Carolina Crested Creative, Jon Massey or from John Wilder. It was a nice show. I was there both days I pick another female leopard gecko. I post picture later. If have any question about the gecko just ask someone on the forum will answer. I live in Cary.

Sara sold us our gecko-- I can't remember what the name of the booth was--

he's doing pretty good-- looks in decent shape. I am going to put him a heat lamp, I don't think the kid's room is as warm during the day as he would like it to be.

He is eating about one baby spoon full of gecko food per night and is very active in the evening.
