Hey people,
I had a welcome when I joined the forum, but well, I haven't been that active why I want to update all of you about who I am, what I do and what I have of reptiles...
I'm a Danish guy, living in Nykøbing F. (just south of Sealand - 1 hour from Copenhagen), studying a bachelor of Leisure Management (with special in tourism and event management, and extra courses of e.g. crowd management, buffer units, airline management, and some more).
I am currently (and hopefully for the rest of my life

) living together with my adorable girlfriend, Jennifer Paris (it is her name, and it is not an artistname because she is a XXX-superstar).
So, I have had PLENTY of reptiles actually, where I started with posinfrogs,
Ph. terribililis in the beautyful mint colouration and my first geckos (which I just fell in love with) was
Teratolepis faciata - which I am now searching for again.
0.0.3 Phyllobates terribillis (mint)
1.1.8 Teratolepis fasciata (6 hatchlings in total)
1.1.2 Phelsuma l. laticauda (2 hatchlings in total)
1.0.0 Coleonyx mitratus
1.0.0 Eublepharis macularius (Tremper albino)
1.2.0 Hemitheconyx caudicinctus
2.0.0 Rhacodactylus ciliatus
1.1.0 Nephrurus milii
0.2.0 Lepidodactylus lugubris
None of these is actually left, since I have changed a bit (changed males to females, sold some, bought some new) but now I have found out what I want of my hobby and where my interest lies.
So now I have the following species, which I have also updated my signature with.
- 1.1
Rh. ciliatus "flame" (PB)
- 1.1
Rh. ciliatus "flame" (PB)
- 0.0.1
Rh. ciliatus "patternless buckskin"
- 1.2
Eublepharis afghanicus (pos. F1)
- 1.1
Phelsuma grandis (PB)
- 0.5.X
Lepidodactylus lugubris
I do also have 0.0.4
D. tinc. "bakhuis" (subadults) which are oing together with my virgin-geckos.
Furthermore I have following eggs in my incubator:
- 2 eggs (soon 6) from
Rh. ciliatus "flame"
- 4 eggs (soon 6) from
Phelsuma grandis
- 12 eggs from
Lepidodactylus lugubris
and I just got the first bad eggs from my
E. afghanicus which hopefully soon will give me some fertile eggs as well
So right now I'm in the planning process of making a rack system with glass front, so I can enjoy the animals I will buy in the autumn (before if availeble) and this will hopefully be:
-
Stenodactylus stenodactylus (would love a huge group)
-
Teratolepis faciata (my first gecko, and one I would like to breed again)
-
Rh. ciliatus (some more females - actually two for my lovely males)
-
Nephurus milii/levis levis (or another Nephurus specie...)
-------
Besides my animals I started to be active in the Danish society/foundation "Nordisk Herpetologisk Forening" (Nordic Herp. Society), where I'm currently in charge of their existing forum, and helping in general in the foundation.

I think that was it for now! Well, if you want to see some pictures of my crested you should check out:
