Default HELP! I'm a new mommy to a Crested Gecko!

I just took in a Crested Gecko (possibly albino) that doesn't look like he is doing too well. He lost his tail ages ago I am told but his left eye is swollen very much but clear and most of his fingers have possibly been eaten by creatures left in his cage. Despite all this, he looks beautiful to me and I would love to give him his health back without having to spend too much money to do so. We already have a bearded dragon and a ball python that my little girl takes excellent care of. Already we removed all of the excess crickets from the cage and thoroughly cleaned his water dish. We do have a few crickets from the shop that was for the bearded dragon that we can dust and give to Duma as well as mealworms. I know that Duma will do better inside her room (around 75 degrees) than the outside place he was in originally. So, with your help can I keep this little one alive enough to see him healthy again? He is about five inches long - no tail. I look forward to your help!

Sorry I'm not sure what the eye could be from, dont worry about him having no tail, almost all wild cresties are tailless. His toes could either be a birth defect or unfortunately lost while trying to shed from lack of humidity. Make sure to give him fruit mixture in addition to bugs-repashy is great stuff- and keep him in a vertically oriented tank. Dont worry about a water dish, they rarely, if ever use them, but mist him a couple times a day- you will see him lick the drops off the glass or plants. Are you using live or fake plants? Live really does make it much easier, as well as keeping them happier IMO if only because they have better humidity.
As a side note, he's most likely what we'd call a buckskin, I'd be extremely surprised if it was an albino. Best of luck and I hope someone can help with his eye! If it gets worse he may need to go to a vet.

I would say that a trip to the vet is in order.
