Did you read Riverside Reptiles' sticky on the leo subforum about mealworms: Feeding Mealworms to Leopard Geckos...? Crickets and roaches have more protein.

I've done alot of research on the cricket meal worm debate. I don't plan on starting my own cricket colony & rather not use crickets that will eat the geckos feces & other dead crickets for the Gecko to in turn eat the cricket & load the gecko with parasites. I'll stick to these Geckos original diet. Sand substrate & geckos catching crickets jumping in the sand will definitely lead to sand getting into the gecko's system. I have less than 1/2 the tank with sand covering the floor & a dish for them to eat the mealies out of & I'll be using
Sticky tongue miner-all vitamins
