Welcome to GU!

Just wondering whether these three have been together before and whether you are planning to quarantine each individually? Have you had leopard geckos in the past?

Geckophiles have varying opinions about treating and acclimatizing WCs. I would definitely inquire how long that WC has been in captivity and if Steve did any quarantining or treating, especially because she will be one of your trio!

i'll ask him about that again to be more clear, thanks. On his site when My Fiancée picked that fem it said wild caught bloodline. When I spoke to Steve earlier he said that all 3 of them were about a year old. Its quite possible he hatched it himself

edit:
I found this on his site

The geckos posted on this page were not collected from the wild, however they are the captive bred offspring from a wild caught bloodline of leopard geckos. In 2006 we imported a group of captive bred leopard geckos from Europe that were offspring from parents that were originally wild caught in Pakistan. Imports of wild caught leopard geckos into the US were stopped in 2002, but it is legal to import captive bred offspring from a wild caught bloodline. The geckos offered below are F2 offspring from wild caughts (their grandparents were captured in the wild) and represent a completely new bloodline of leopard geckos that is not related to any other leopard geckos in the US. They are very useful for outcrossing, or provide a clean genetic slate (i.e. not het for albino, not carrying jungle genes, etc.) for proving out the genetics of a potential new trait.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE INPUT & CONCERN

What type of substrate are you considering? Just wondered because of the strong recommendation for sand on the link you provided.

Leopard gecko Peach was between 2 and 3 years old. For an account of a sand impaction which ultimately proved fatal click: My dear Peach

I believe that it is always better to be safe than sorry. Slate tile is also an option.

I've been reading alot on people losing juvenile leo's due to sand impaction. With that being said I'm going with what Mr. Sykes recommends, after researching the man himself I feel confident with his suggestions. These guys were all living on sand prior to me. This is the set-up that these Leo's are used too & i'm trying to keep the same environment for them. Also I purchased adult leo's & will be feeding them primarily meal worms with the occasional wax worm treat. There will always be vitamins available for them. Now if I was purchasing little 1's they would be staying on reptile carpet until they were fully mature. They will be housed in a 30 gallon I have set up with multiple hides for them. I have the zoo-med 3 in 1 reptile cage in large & I have a t-rex peek a view burrow & also a medium lizard hide, The total area that actually has sand is actually less than half the tank. I'll keep you posted Ms. Freer. & again thank you, its appreciated.

I'm going to observe my lizards very carefully & will switch the substrate if I notice any real problems.

Hi ~

I just found out this morning from Peach's owner that Peach was mature and between 2-3 years old.

Did you read Riverside Reptiles' sticky on the leo subforum about mealworms: Feeding Mealworms to Leopard Geckos...? Crickets and roaches have more protein.
