it would be nice if someone could catch me up on all the new gecko lingo. i know pretty much nothing jsut the basic stuff. right now im running just one of those blue daylight bulbs and a nighttime bulb. the lid only has about a 7x7 inch vent at the top that my light is over so it gets very hot and humid in the tank and im hoping that good. the gecko seems very happy and i have lots of plants and branches for him to climb on. and he eats like a pig.

Try posting your questions in the Tokay subforum. You'll probably find better answers there. There are lots of Tokay keepers here. I have no experience with them so I'm of no help....

Your reef tank looks very nice. I would suggest that you add more vertical climbers for your tokay. I do know that they love a ton of things to climb on.

If you live somewhere near some nice wooded areas, it's a great place to gather some branches and stuff. Just be sure to bake them before you put them in your tank. That's what I've used for most of my branches. A good place to find fake plants is a dollar store or a second hand store. Just be sure to wash those really well too before you put them in your tank.

i dont like using fake plants, right now i have a couple ferns a spider plant and some other large tropical plants as well as a large orchid that i have just introduced. i got another fairly large branch to put in the tank but the upper half of the tank still looks really empty.
