Default hellooo

Hello everyone my name's eddie. This is my first time on this site im new in the gecko world. i recently got a beautiful snow leopard gecko i named her gidget. my setup has sand im hearing alot of mixed reviews and i dont want her to get a sand impaction. any suggestions? thank youuu

Hi! Welcome to GU! It'll be a great resource for you when you get more!
Read over Elizabeth's care sheet. I don't use sand and I probably never will with Leopard geckos. I use a combination of paper towels and slate tiles. I put the paper towels under the slate tiles so that the tank has a nice naturalistic look to it. I change the paper towels about once a week.

Gidget is about a year old. That is what i was told by the previous owner. and thank you! i think maybe i will take our advice about the tile and newspaper

Snow leopard, that sounds very cool. Take pictures of Gidget and show them off! Welcome to the site, im new too and have tripled my knowledge in 10mins here!
