Hello -
I am a mother, who never thought she would like lizards of any kind, but my son used his birthday money for a Leopard Gecko. Her name was Roxy and she passed away tonight. We are very sad. Would like another one, but want to learn more first. So I will be reading post and hopefully one day will have another Roxy in our house.

Hello ~
A hearty welcome to Geckos Unlimited. GU knows leos, so hang on for the ride.
So sorry to hear of Roxy's passing tonight. Might you share her symptoms for education's sake?
I know the ride "out there" is very conflicting. If only one could check these guidelines prior to getting their first leo, there would be more healthy leos around.
To get you started (ha ha---a "bit" more than that), please check out the Leo Guidelines linked below \/ in my signature. Please compare Roxy's care with those suggestions. They have helped many a leo here, so stick with us.
How old is your son?
Could you post a picture of Roxy's habitat?
Do you know that leos can live into their 20s?Last edited by Elizabeth Freer; 10-23-2012 at 12:19 AM.
