Hi there,

I found this gecko in a packet of fossil mint. Fossil mint is Indian sandstone, so I would assume that's where the he/she came from.

I know nothing about reptiles so need to know what things I need to do in order to look after him/her properly....

Could it be dangerous in any sense?

He/she will not be dangerous. I'm not very familiar with these sorts of geckos, but it looks a little like some Ptyodactylus species.
Hopefully someone can give you a concrete answer. If you can get a fully body shot, that'd be useful.
