Default house Gecko help, please.

We live in North Florida and started finding geckos in our bath about a year ago. They have become more and more common. I think it is a Mediterranean House Gecko, not sure. They are all transparent. Most are an inch long, but I saw one 4 inch adult in my carport. My daughter wants to keep it, but I don't know what they eat, etc. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. We decided to let it go. I didn't want to kill it by mishandling. We are seeing them very frequently.
