This is waldo , a friend of mine recently went to florida , and decided to bring this lil guy home . For whatever reason , they couldnt keep him , i couldnt let the lil guy die so i adopted him . I need a definite id so i can properly care for him . The climate in Indiana is completely different from florida , and seeing as how ive not ever been there as much advice as possible would be nice.
I know these arent the best identification pics , but hes a hard one to get pics of , he spends most of his time in his little coconut hut . I will do my best to get some better pics

Looks like you have a Hemidactylus turcicus, a species coming from the Mediterranean shores
"Thorr Geckos" private breeder in Normandy.

Ptenopus kochi, various Uroplatus species, several Pachydactylus and Hemidactylus species, Ch. angulifer & turneri , Gehyra marginata, Afroedura loveridgei, Ptyodactylus guttatus, H. caudicinctus, Homopholis wahlbergii & fasciata, Paroedura picta...

Like what thorrshamri said, it's a H. turcicus. They are arboreal species so make sure you have enough vertical space, hides and wood-plants. Also, remove the sand. You may want to try eco-earth or however it is called (it's soil).

Well not technically. Eco Earth is ground coconut husk, not soil. Not that it really matters - just to avoid some confusion. It's a great option though.
