I've always thought it comical how books, keepers etc. suggest cage sizes. It's usually said something like "U. Sikorae should be housed in 18x18x36 minimum." No reasons, no explanation, nothin'. I've wondered for years how exactly they come up with these numbers.

Individually housed in 18''x18''x24'' exo terra glass cubes. Also 36''x18''x18'' glass exo. I plan to put pairs in the existing set ups though.

Pakinjak, I love this forum phenomenon as well. Like if you don't meet these minimums your geckos are doomed. I have a pair of satanics that have thrived in a 12x12x18, way to small for some, but They keep producing offspring like clockwork.

I do have plans to move them into slighly larger quarters hopefully in the next few months. Common sense dictates that with a well grown acclimated pair a larger cage is better than a smaller one.
