i think you have misread the quota documentation. there is no mention of uroplatus at all in the current listings with the link you provided. they simply listed the genera with with they recommend ceasing all imports, and list the species that are the exception within each genus. just because no uroplatus were listed doesnt really mean much. pietschmanni have already come in in shipments earlier this year, as have many other species of uroplatus.

i agree that efforts should be made to successfully breed members of the genus uroplatus, but to urge anyone and everyone to get their hands on them is one of the things that perpetuates hysteria within the hobby, and could once again lead to greedy dealers demanding outrageous prices (we saw that soon after uroplatus first became CITES listed).

so please, read things more carefully and understand them well before jumping to conclusions.
