Default Air conditioning

My air conditioning just broke in our house and it is 87-93.F in here. I am not really worried about my other geckos, lizards etc. besides my uroplatus pietschmanni's. They are very black in color. At the moment I have them inside Styrofoam containers with ice packs in the bottom. I have to constantly take the ice packs out so it doesn’t get to cold inside.

What is max temperature uroplatus pietschmanni’s can tolerate before dieing?
They are not looking good and I am running out of ideas. The fans are on full blast and the widows are open but its just not getting cooler. It may be till Monday till it is fixed so I need to whip something up quick for all of my animals. If anyone has any ideas please share them.

Thanks

Turn the lights off that are over the tanks of your other geckos. This will help lower the room temp. If you have a basement, I'd move your temp sensitive geckos down there.

This may also be of help:

I mentioned this in another post, but a great temporary cooldown can be achieved with a wet towel and a fan. My air conditioning broke, and it looks unlikely that the landlord will get it fixed/replaced this week, so I needed to figure something out fast. The high temp for today is 88 degrees...

Just wrap the tank with the towel, wet it down with a sprayer, and point a fan at it. As longs as you can rewet the towel every couple of hours and the humidity is low enough, you should be able to reduce tank temps by about 5 degrees Fahrenheit. You should be able to increase the amount of time between rewets by using a double/triple thick layer of towels.

If you have a screen top for your enclosure put them back in it then place ice on top of cage and direct the fans twards the ice pack's.Cold air falls down into enclosure then the fan helps circulate the air without having one central cold spot. But if you have a differant type setup just wrap the ice pack's in a towel and place inside with fans blowing this has worked for me during the hurricanes and alot of mantella's are very thankful now.Goodluck and hope your ac gets fixed.

I would think low 80's would be the highest temps tolerated for any amount of time. The ice on the screen top is a good idea EXCEPT make sure the water does not drip directly on the animals. I shocked and killed an adult phantasticus by doing this. Is it possible to keep that cage at a neighbors house? That was my ultimate refuge.

Keep humidity up if possible as well, I have seen these take heat better when not too dry. The ice on top of cage screen has helped me in the past...but fan caused it to evaporate too quikly for me.
