I now keep my 1.2 group in an old gun cabinet converted into an enclosure. The entire inside is equivalent to about 50 gallons...which honestly seems like too much for them. A trio could easily do very nice in a 29 gallon tank (provided the husbandry is correct).

I do like your enclosure as it looks very nice. Keep in mind though, that sikorae are going to want to lay flat against the branches, so the more space they have per branch to stretch out their entire body and tail, the better.

The vivarium looks nice. If I could suggest anything, it would be a little more open floor space. Sikaore are aggressive feeders that will dive across the cage to catch a cricket.

I can second that. You need plants, but not too much so you have some open spaces.

"Jadrig. That's so wrong! The people who have huge setups have them for the animals and not for themselves. People who have huge setups want's to make the best of it for their animals."

Well...thats your opinion...

If people have success with these geckos in not so large enclosures while, at the same time, there are some people who have crazy elaborate enclosures are not having success...

It tells you that it is not the enclosure's size that matters...

There are plenty more important determining factors to their environment...
