Default Male or female?

This is our Uroplatus henkeli, which is now about 5 months old.
A lot of people have told us it's a male according to the pattern, but we still can't see any bulge....
Hope you can help us with this, cause we just ordered a female to be "his" mate... Now it wouldn't be a problem to end up with two females, but we just want to be sure of the gender....

The bulges are best seen from the side, so a photo from the side would probably help. They can develop rather late though, my "female" sikorae had me fooled for a long time, before suddenly one night i noticed the huge bulges So i wouldnt jump to conclusions before "he" gets closer to his adult size.

Thanks for the help! We try to make a photo from the side!
Last night he looked more "puffy" around the vent area... So he might be developing a bulge.

Try to make some nighttime pictures, then the colors are better visible.
Also, it can take some time to develop the bulges. I had it too with my henkeli. This day nothing, the next day everything out of nowhere.

Thanks!
As soon as he is in the right position we will make some pictures from the side.
The pictures are taken at night. At day time he is almost white....

Here is a shot of one of a few henkeli I produced a few years back, all 3 of which turned out male:

It took upwards of a year for them to show a bulge, and prior to that I thought they'd turn out female. Yours looks like it has a faint pattern beneath the generally same color/pattern of the one I've pictured. That faint pattern, I feel I've seen more on males and I'm struggling to think of females with that faint pattern present (either in a faint manner as yours exhibits or in a bold manner).

Thanks!
Hmm if it can take them a year, we hope the female we are going to buy is really a female....
