Default sikorae feighnt death?

I had my smallest sikorae male out of the terrarium today, to remove some small peaces of shed he had on him. At first when i held him, i tried to mimck a twig i think, but then it was more like a feighn death. When i put him back in the viv, he seemed almost to have cramps, would only hang on to the branch with the back feet, and arched himself backwards, while haveing small, almost spasm-like movements. Is this normal? I havent ever taken them out before, except for getting this one over in a new viv, then he gaped alot at me, and seemed more agressive. Not at all like today.

Should i panic and go straight to the vet, or is this a normal tactic to get predators and such to loose interest?

He has been feeding well, dusted crickets, and is nice and round, the tail even has abit of fat on it. So i wouldnt think that is from the way i keep/feed them.

Sorry for the caotic post, with lots of spelling errors, i just got "abit" worried now. Havent heard, or read anything about similar behaviour before.

Cheers,
Jan Philip.

Well, I had a female mossy that started to have seizures, stiffen up, make a long squeel noise, spasm up, and then fall to the bottom of the cage...

Some one else was taking care of her for a while and she started to lay eggs...

She had calcium deficiency...thats what led to the seizures...

Are his hand movements 'shakey'???

Its a male, and he has only gotten calcium dusted food, every feeding time. I havent seen him have any problems inside the viv, i will have to keep a close eye on him the next few days i guess.
