Default Sikorae breeding Behaviors?

Hello, I have a pr of sikorae I purchased at a reptile swap about three months ago. The gentleman I purchased them from said he had them for about 6 months and that the female laid three clutches but none of the six eggs were good. They weighed about 18 grams when I got them and weigh about 20 grams now(3 months). I never witnessed them mating but the female is heavier(21.1) and has a fat belly. Does he lay off if shes ready to lay? I dont want any eggs yet. In fact I'm cutting down daylight hrs so that I can mate them in march. Also, do they display when they are ready to mate? Like arm wave or head bob? Ive read that some leaf tails geckos actually are vocal when in season. Any of this true? Thank you in advance....happy thanks giving!
