Default My Henkeli Tank

I finished my tank for my new henkeli the other day and stuck her in there today. I wish it was bigger but for now it will do. I'm gonna try to figure out how I could build an extension on the top to raise it a foot or 2, but fist I have to figure out what materials are light enough for the cage to support the weight. what do you guys think?

I thought this was a cool idea for a water dish. It's a plastic cricket cage sitting in a an egg-crate shelf with a drip-water tube over it so I can run the drip a lot longer. It slides out real easy for dumping the water.

and here's some glamor shots

Thanks for looking

-Matt

Nice, I love the cork branch. Would be cool to attach some plants to it.

Hi!

nice setup! But I would recommend some vertical branches on which the henkeli can "dissapear":
My animals often sleep like this they seem to feel more safe on those vertical branches.

Best regards
Siri

Like sourri mentions: The gecko would feel more secure with a few horizontally placed branches. Hope you figur out a way to make it bigger, cause its small.

The gecko is pretty tough

it's in an 18X18X24 zoomed terrarium (same thing as exo terra) but I just ordered a 18X18X36 for her after work today cause I want to get her a boyfriend. and as far as price it depends on if it's cb or wc. Mine is wild caught and I picked her up for 85$ but even if there wild caught they can go for more depending on who's selling them.
