Land snails?

Does anyone know where to find land snails here in Canada? Have you ever tried feeding them to uroplatus? Right now I have pietchmanni, but I would like to add more variety to their diet. So far I can only find canned deshelled snails, which I havent (yet!) seen them eat. Good idea? Bad?
If anyone has any for sale let me know please!
