wishful thinking?
ok so ive been noticing my female phant looking very plump, but i can see her ribs more as she has grown, she has also increased the size of her calcium sacs,
ive not even had slugs from her that i know of,im told she was a virgin when i got her,but she has been housed with 2 males,
i just wanted a few oppinions realy,i know its not the best shot but it gives an indication of how wide she is,

gravid or just wishful thinking??
i also have another 2 males but im not sure it would be fair to put the female in with 4 males, espesialy if she is already gravid?any oppinions?
ur oppinions would be much appreciated guys

Looks to me like she could be gravid, but it is impossible to tell from a photo really. She might have a stroke though if you keep her with four males

Not if her name is Jenna Jameson...poor taste...sorry, couldnt resist
You should keep her isolated regardless, from the other males...but if she IS adult sized...the more males, the better chance of a successful mating, possible? She should be fine with just the two for now though...

ill try and get some better shots,i just dont like disturbing them too much,
she is definately adult size, around 5grams last time i checked,
shes bigger than one of the males and slightly smaller than the other, ive never witnessed any mating or any agression, every once in a while they all sleep together,
if she isnt gravid then shes a porker, very round, but i suppose these things can be deceiving, ive never seen a gravid phantasticus in person, infact apart from the specimens i have myself i havnt realy seen many uros in the flesh,
i think i will give it a while and if she dosnt lay eggs,i will try her with the other 2 males,i wish i had more females so i could do 1 big group,

I'm with D.B.Johnson, I don't think it would be the best idea to keep her with 4 males, and there wouldn't be much advantage anyway, it just means you're less likely to know who the father of the babies is.
It's difficult to say if she's gravid or not, but she is definately a good plump adult.

yeah only way id do a big group is if i had the females, but as u say grham ud still be better splitting into pairs,
as i say,if nothing comes of it after a few months i will try her with the 2 other males, who if anything are bigger than the males she is with atm,
i just had another look at her and managed to weigh her quickly and she is 5.6 grams, and as i say she was floating at around 5 or just under since i got her,
im gonna try and get better pics for u guys,
