You have the possibility of sperm retention for several months, or she could just be cycling inferts. But I agree in that photo her midsection definitely suggests that she could be gravid.

Thanks for clarifying. I was under the impression that some mainland localities differed from the Nosy Bé locality mainly by means of tail size.Do you perhaps happen to have a good source of literature that distinguishes the different ebenaui localities? All the articles in journals I've come across will mention up to 5 locales of ebenaui (all in N. Madagascar) but never really go into defining the variances in morphology...moreover, they all conclude that some of these localities may indeed be different species entirely. The only descriptions of body size, tail lengths, etc. seem to come from hobbyist who have seen the different "localities" in their collections or at shows, etc.
