Default Differences between Henkels and Mossies

I am havin a hard time telling the difference between U. Henkeli and U. Sikorae
WHAT ARE THE MAIN PHISICAL DIFFERENCES?
i can tell if the mossy is very broken green and white patterning but man some of the pictures ive look so similar i wonder
i noticed that Henkels have zebra like patterning on their behind and other mossy leaf tails have different patterns in the eyes? other than that they look very much alike

ANY OTHER INFO OFR THESE TWO?

Henkeli are considerably larger than U. Sikorae. The eye coloring is also different. While Henkeli tend to have red reticulated eyes, sikorae usually have yellow eyes.

Also, the coloring and pattern varies. Sikorae are known to exhibit different shades of greens/browns/olives/whites while henkeli are usually white/cream/brown.

Hope this helps,
-Armen

Huge size difference, and sikorae have the bigger "beards".
As rhacoboy said the pattern and colors vary.

easiest way to tell your henkeli from a sikorae is to look at the color of it's throat. Henkeli throats are flesh colored, sikorae throats are black.

To easiest way is to look up pictures of both and see for yourself. There is a big enough of a difference that it is easily apparent in just a couple of photo's.

But size and morphology (patterns, shape etc) are the main differences. Henkeli reach 10-11" while U. sikorae usually stay a bit smaller, 6-8" in total length.

To go a little further for you...

This is a "typical" U. henkeli

U. sikorae...

Hope this helps!
