    1. Do Beta-caroteins affect Uroplatus species such as Henkels, mossies or Giants?

    2. What weight is best to start breeding above mentioned geckos

    and 3. what is the preffered plant species these geckos enjoy?

    1- not that I know.

    2- depends on the species. Usually, females start to be productive at an age well beyond the one mentioned in most care sheets anyway. Breeding 1-year old henkeli is almost a nonsense, it works better when they are 2 years old or more.

    3- Depends on the species too. Bamboo is a must for lineatus, cork bark oak is a must for sikorae, sameiti and pietsch. Guentheris like ficus with small twigs (benjamina) and my lineatus also prefer thin branches or twigs to plants with larger branches. Otherwise I am using artificial plants and Asplenium nidus, plus some Spanish moss hanging from branches/lianas.
