Default U.sameiti male

this guy was a mistake, but a good mistake . He was supposed to be a U.sikorae...but he is a real nice specimen, so i am happy. I have had him since January and he is doing well... but I am not sure if I want to look for a female. I was wondering what the frequency of sameiti is with imports. It seems like over the past year or two, more have been exported...but I think that it has more to do with people being able to Identify them.

They always come in as U.sikorae as there is no quota or CITIES listing for U.sameiti. So there is no answer on frequency, it's really how lucky you are. I have plenty of females but only one male currently.

I must say though, I've never seen a U.sameiti with that pattern. Everything but the color makes me think U.henkeli or U.aff.henkel. Regardless, he's a stunning specimen for sure!

Cheers!

Luis
