New Uroplatus Sikorae additions
Let me introduce our new trio: Mika (m), Lea (f) & Mia (f). They arrived a little late this morning, but got here safe & sound. Once they settle in I'll get much better photos of them. I'll be putting in their new custom made 3-sided background probably on Monday and will post photos of it then.
Mika
Lea
Mia

I wanted to thank you and Armen for your advise when I was thinking about getting these guys; I'm glad I got them.
Here are a couple more photos....Mia was sleeping in a bad camera angle, so will have to get some of her later; but Lea & Mika were at perfect angles. I do have to say I'm am in LOVE with Mika's color/pattern, he's is freaking amazing.
Lea after she darkened up a some
Lea & Mika together
and Mika letting his color flow

Yah, I've been looking, hoping to find a 1.1 pairing with lots of color...so I was when I had the opportunity to get 1.2 Sikorae with lots of color.
But the search continues, my husband wants to get 1.1 or 1.2 Phantasticus with some nice deep red coloring. He said he's in no hurry, but if any come available that he would jump on them in a heart beat. Already got an enclosure for them and he'll be working on a custom background here within the next couple weeks. I think it is safe to say we are addicted the the Uros as much as the gargs!

Sad to report that Mika did not make it through the night. The girls seem to be doing well this morning. RIP Mika.

Sorry to hear this Andi.
If you are looking to buy phantasticus, maybe you should look for captive bred ones...

Thanks Deb! We know the phantasticus are even more delicate and my husband what to know lineage on them (so future offspring would carry the red line) so they'll definitely be CB.

Sorry to hear about the male.
Are these fresh WC animals?
It is extremely variable what the colour and pattern of hatchling Uroplatus will be. As far as I am aware there has been no one who has selectively bred Uroplatus for certain colours.
