IMO, this may be the prettiest animal I own, the pics just don't do her justice. I can't tell you how much I love her, and can't wait to pair her next year.

I know dub you a photographer!!!

Great shots, very nice animal for sure!!!

Also you need to have the CCD cleaned on the camera... (3 spots on the mid right side, those are dust particles on the CCD (cmos)...)

Very nice shots! Stunning fimbriatus as well

You might want to give your lens and/or camera sensor a clean though

Yah, I know, right! That funk has been on the lens or whatever for who knows how long, but it's my wife's stuff and she hardly ever uses it. I keep telling her she needs to get it cleaned, but you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make 'em drink.

Thanks for the compliments. The female in the pictures is about 9.5" long and was hatched around last July or so. Man, did she grow fast!

I've been assuming that if she's adult size- 11" or so, and has good calcium sacs, then she'd be ok to pair with a male. Seems to me that should be just after the winter cooling next year. It would also be around 1.5 years old, which is what I've read for the larger species of Uros. Anybody have any pointers on that?

I know a couple of my lenses need a really good clean as well, but I have just been cloning out the spots on photoshop instead... (when I remember)

I think that 1.5-2 years is generally the minimum age for most Uroplatus, so if she is a good size, weight and has good calcium stores, then I'd say she'll be fine to breed
