Yah, I know, right! That funk has been on the lens or whatever for who knows how long, but it's my wife's stuff and she hardly ever uses it. I keep telling her she needs to get it cleaned, but you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make 'em drink.
Thanks for the compliments. The female in the pictures is about 9.5" long and was hatched around last July or so. Man, did she grow fast!
I've been assuming that if she's adult size- 11" or so, and has good calcium sacs, then she'd be ok to pair with a male. Seems to me that should be just after the winter cooling next year. It would also be around 1.5 years old, which is what I've read for the larger species of Uros. Anybody have any pointers on that?
