Hey last year I got my male guentheri around sept and put him with my female and they ended up producing some eggs for a few months. After they stopped laying the female seemed stressed so I seperated them and since then the female has put her weight back on and is much more active again. The tank is large but my real question is when should I put them back together for a proper season and when should I seperate again to prevent stress.

well I got impatient and put the male with the female for a conjugal visit after a month of separation and they got right to business. I am planning to take him back out tomorrow to keep the female as stressfree as possible and see if anything comes from tonight. I would still love input if anyone has any on this.
