Default Black spot on face, ideas?

I took an update pic of this girl, and noticed something on her face. I'd like to hear your opinions of what it is.

Here she is all stretched out

and here is the spot on her face

Any ideas?

Looks like a small injury or abscess. Just make sure it's not infected. You might be able to gently apply some betadine, which should help cover it up and keep it from getting infected.

Mike, despite your distaste for the like button, I didst like your comment. I'm thinkin' the same thing and shall apply the ointment posthaste.

(It's just the first one I've ever seen like it, so I had to ask.)

You misunderstand my dislike for the like button. The dislike comes with polarized or uncivil arguments.

Anyhow, I hope it helps.

Wow...she looks good...shes CB right?

She doesnt have that spot on the other side does she?

Its probably just a little scar...most geckos scar black.

Honestly...I would not mess with it.

My female henkels had a hind leg that was clearly broken. I removed the male and she healed up quickly...and her leg was completely functional too. The eggs she laid when she was injured were completely white because she could not roll them in the substrate.

I know, I was joking. It's hard to get across humor in text format...

Joe, yeah, she's CB, and the pride of my Uroplatus "program". She also tells me I'm doing something right and gives me a standard against which to judge the looks of all my others- tails, body mass, etc. She'll be paired with a clay/yellow male next year and I hope they produce for me.
