Default U.s. sikorae - small male with bigger female?

Hi,
has anyone ever tried keeping a smaller male with an adult female? It would be better for both, cagesizewise, if it works out. I would say he is about 2/3 of her size and about 1 year younger.

Cheers,
Jan Philip

I personally wouldn't house them together with the size difference, just my opinion

How old is the male? If the male is a full grown adult, that is more than alright. Males in general are a considerable amount smaller. I have never seen a sikorae male that has been the same size as a female. If the male is still a juvenile, then I would say no. Let him grow up eating when he pleases. Females usually are more aggressive with their food and if the male is not yet full grown, he will miss out on meals.
