Has anyone tried giving Araneus and Lithobius species to Uroplatus?

Why should somebody? Both groups of animals are surely not the best feed, don't you think?

I am mostly thinking about what they would do in nature if they had the oppotunity, would they eat them or not?

Would it affect them if they got bitten or would they just eat them?

Maybe that's an interesting question, but I would not try it, because you never know if it would affect them.

best regards
Sacha

Does anyone know if Uroplatus eats centipedes, millipedes, scorpions or spiders in nature?

Hey Nick

I have some millipedes in my phantasticus setup, to help keep the tank clean besides the collembola springtails and woodlice they are reproducing at an ekstreme rate, and I have seen the male U. phantasticus eat a fes direct of the branch at nighttime. So I have experianced that they can and will eat them without any sideaffects. But they arent the best feeder as they will digg into the substarte quickly after being placed in the viv.

But I cannot answer your original question

I as well have centipedes in my pietschmanni tank that came with the plant. They have reproduced like crazy and don't seem to bother the gecko but I have not seen him eat any but then again I wouldn't doubt they would munch on them if lacking real insects.
