Is 45x45x90 cm (18x18x36) inches to big for sp. nov. aff. ebenaui or pietschmanni? Will it be difficult for them to find food?

I have a five month old Uroplatus pietschmanni in a 45 x 45 x 60 cm Zoomed enclosure. He spends most of the time on the cork background and has little difficulty finding crickets as they climb the background or adjacent branches.

The U.sp.nov.aff.ebenaui will do well in a 36" tall enclosure but you can house more individuals in a wider enclosure. We housed 2.3 in a 36x18x18" enclosure without any problems.

Cheers!

Luis

What about 24x24x48" for pietschmanni and sp. nov. aff. ebenaui?

I've kept a 1.3 group of Pietschmanni in an 18x24x36.
With Uroplatus, you can never really go too big unless they're fresh hatchlings.

Thanks,
-Armen
