Default Move egg, yes or no?

Mia laid an egg on a branch, totally ignoring the lay box a short distance away. The egg is probably infertile, but shoud I leave it where it is til it molds or should I try & move it to an incubator til it molds?

It's a dud. If it's good they roll them with their hind feet until perfectly round and hard.

Yea, I figured it was a dud since it was on a branch. I just went to check on Niko & took a quick peek at Mia & the egg is gone. It's not on the floor of the enclosure & she's next to where it was so I think she ate it knowing it was a dud.

I agree, it's a dud, it looks just like the infertile eggs Dara used to lay. I removed mine, because otherwise they just were broken open and dripped yolk everywhere.

Hello,
Yes, that egg is a dud. As stated above, if the egg is fertile they will roll it and it will become hard and round.

The choice is yours weather you want to move it or not, but I would suggest doing so. You never know what kind of bugs or what not it could attract...
Thanks,
-Armen

Sorry, didn't read your above post. But yeah, if she ate it, that's probably a very good thing. I'm sure that has lots of protein and calcium.
