Maybe...maybe not. 4 inches snout to tail is still a pretty small and young one. It might take a bit more time to know for sure. I just have that hunch it's male...ya know?

edit: ....and no, I haven't noticed the dots making a difference at all. All of my sikorae and sameiti have them.

It's a different species, but I have a young henk that looked female until last week. It's a full length animal, and now it's obviously male because of the hemipenes. Sometimes the're late bloomers, I guess.

Females carry the dots more often than the males, IME. I know the Riverbanks Zoo has a male with spots, but again, I usually see the spots on females.

a note of interest: the known adult female imported with this group has a prominent vertebral stripe, as does the adult male.......

I would guess male but, you never know. I would like to see some shots of the adult female with stripes though.
