I use repashy products as well. Calcium Plus every feeding, with a little dish of straight calcium in the tank, though I've never seen any evidence of them eating it at all. I also have a little bottle of Rescuecal just in case.
The Calcium Plus is designed to be a total supplement- calcium, vitamins and minerals. This is just a theory, but I feel strongly that it's not JUST about calcium with Uroplatus, but they need heavy vitamins and minerals as well. I mean, look where they come from, one of the craziest places on Earth, chock full of geological craziness... the plants grow in that rich environment, the feeders eat the plants, the Uros eat the feeders so I try to mimic that in my collection. So sure, I want good calcium but also the minerals.
I've only had reason to try the Rescuecal once, and it made it well worth the purchase. My female henkeli has now laid 14 eggs this season, and scared me pretty bad a few weeks ago with a calcium crash. Her head wobbled, muscles twitched, tongue was hanging out... it looked like she had cerebral palsy. I mixed up some Rescuecal, gave her a cc and that same night she was hanging on the screen again, no visible signs of crashing. Of course, total recovery is a longer road than that, but I'll never be without Rescuecal as long as I keep Leaftails... it may have saved her. Rescuecal is design for emergency situations, and is not palatable so you'll have to dose them with a syringe or dropper by force, or... what I've started doing with this female is injecting a half grown dubia with full strength Rescuecal until it won't hold any more and then feeding it to the animal. She doesn't seem to mind, and I know how much I'm getting in her.
Aside from this one animal, (who did lay 14 eggs) all my Uros have nice chalk sacs and I've been very pleased with CalPlus as a supplment, and very pleased with Rescuecal from my one usage of it.
