    Default Feeding leopard geckos

    How often and how much should a leopard gecko be fed? The leopard gecko im getting will be 3-4 months old so i need to know for younger leos but also for how much to feed when he gets older and when to start feeding him more?

    In general you feed them as much as they'll eat in a short period of time (15 minutes or so) or you can leave a bowl of mealworms in all the time. Juveniles up to about 30 grams or so usually eat every day. Older geckos can eat every 2-3 days. My rule of thumb is that when they start pooping just one large poop a day instead of a bunch of small ones they may be ready to eat every few days. Or else, if they don't seem interested in food every day it's a sign to reduce the frequency.
