I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a new gecko owner (had my gecko Luna for almost a year now) so maybe I’ve done something wrong but she is very picky with her food. she will only take wax worms now, she refused to eat crickets and stopped eating meal worms after a while. Is there anything I could try to get her to maybe eat a little better?

Probably stop giving her wax worms which can be addictive. Try super worms instead since they move more than the mealworms but aren't as fast as the crickets. If she'll take super worms, try reintroducing crickets later. If she goes on a hunger strike, she'll be fine. I have geckos that don't eat for months in the winter sometimes.

Cut out the waxworms, period. They are nothing but junk food for geckos, and have very little nutritional value. Geckos love them though, and if you keep feeding them waxworms, they often won't settle for anything else. Ditch the waxworms, and wait. Your gecko will get hungry and eventually have no choice but to eat something else...my experience...
