Default Leopard gecko is stressed and not eating so much

On August 17 I left to go on vacation and Iíll be back on September 1. My dad is back at home taking care of Bagel and I left him strict instructions on what to do. Heís been giving my updates and he told me that heís not eating so much (eating like 14 or 15 mealworms on his feeding days). From what my dad has told me, Bagel seems really stressed and even hissed at my dad (bagel has never hissed at me so itís the first time). Heís shy and scared of him. My gecko has always been shy of new people and is only comfortable around me but Iím gone for 2 weeks. My dad is going to feed crickets next feeding, so Iím hoping that heíll take it. I think bagel has always been scared of my dad, he has a loud voice which scares Bagel a bit.
Any advice or tips? I just donít know who can take care of him if I go on vacation again because heís so shy and no one else handles him except me.

As long as he has adequate water in his cage he'll be fine. Even if for some reason he doesn't eat at all when you're gone, these guys are very hardy. I have leopard geckos that can hardly eat for a month or more without any problems (it's not my preference but I can't make them eat!). As long as he is provided with the water and offered food regularly I don't think you have to worry.

Thank you, the only time he doesn’t eat is after he sheds and skips a meal or two so him not eating so much worried me a lot. He’s still eating but not all of his food. Better than nothing
