My gecko Astrid (F) year old hasn't aten since friday 4/17/20 today is 4/22/20 she is normally a picky eater and will protest untill I give her one of her treat worms wax worms/hornworms. She usually only gets wax worms 2-3 feedings a month when she will not eat anything else. I have persistently tried multiple times a day since friday to give her theese. She just looks at them and walks away not like her at all. All of her temp stats are correct, she has an exoterra tank plenty of space, as well as calcium w d3 when i feed and once a week i add a repashy vitamin to the food and she has calcium without d3 in the tank always, and i use cabinet liner as substrate the only loose substrate is a mix of coconut fiber and eco earth in her moist hide. Her tank got cleaned sunday and I havnt seen any fecal since. She keeps climing on the glass. She still comes to me when i open the tank to hold her but im getting really worried. It could be that she shed and isn't hungry but if anyone could help id appreciate it. I gave her a lukewarm bath today and massaged her belly just incase there is impaction.

Some female geckos are ovulating at this time of year and she's old enough for it to be her first time. They often don't eat. My female geckos are all eating a lot less. It's not a big deal as long as they are not visibly losing tail size and are behaving more or less normally. Keep offering and be patient.

Thank you I've rescued and rehomed many Leo's but I never had a female long enough. Absolutley fell in love with her. I don't know if it matters but my males enclosure is above hers should I move him I don't know if him being there would stress her out. I dont know much about this in female's I'll definitley go on and do more research she's the first leo I've kept. I know all about the care just not ovulation, dumb I know. Any other warning sighns I should look for?

The male won't bother her but if he smells her he may not eat. Obviously if there is a sudden change in behavior that persists for days or if her tail suddenly starts getting very thin there could be a problem.

It's now 4/29/20 and she has not eaten yet she is in the porocess of shedding so at least she will eat that. When I got her she was overweight but I've gotten her healthy. She is still chunky so her weight isn't a concern but now she wont lay in her hides she just lays outside of them but he body is still resting on an area were the heat matt is. She is still acting normal just will not eat.

some leopard geckos like can like one insect then they are like "nah I don't like it anymore" so you have to try different insects in order to find an insect to try to get it to eat again so id suggest to harbor many different types on insects in case this happens again

also if you have a reptile (not one that doesn't have feet or any other limbs such as the legless lizard or snake they don't need help) that had started shedding you might want to give it a bath to help get some of the skin off that it cant get off such as the skin on its feet if you don't get it off their feet it will cause them to lose some toes

Most of the females at my place aren't really eating. I'm saving on crickets, at least.
