Where to order live feeder food from in US
LOG IN TO CLOSE THIS AD
Just curious, does anyone have recommendations of where to order live feeder food from ? I'm in Ohio (USA) and while I can pickup the usual things like crickets and mealworms from local shops, I'm looking to see where may be good to order from to have delivered.
Right now, our leo is a baby still, so I don't know that buying in bulk will make much sense yet
Thank you in advance.

I like banded crickets for their durability, but there are few suppliers of them. I've used buyfeedercrickets.com, Josh's frogs, and Rainbow Mealworms. My experience with these three has been somewhat disappointing.
For standard house crickets, I really like dealing with Komodo reptiles- great service and pricing.
For dubia and superworms, I culture my own. However, my original stock came from Reptile Deli. I felt they were a good supplier, the one time I dealt with them.

I've been extremely happy with tophatcrickets.com. They sell another type of crickets (banded crickets) which are much cuter than the usually crickets for what it's worth (they also jump REALLY well). I have no idea how much small amounts cost since I buy in bulk. One thing you can do, though, is to buy a lot of small crickets (1/4" or so) and give them time to grow up to keep you supplied for awhile.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I will take a look.
@acpart, how many crickets (small/medium) do you think I could keep in a 10g tank? Trying to judge how many to order.
