    Hi everyone!

I just picked up my first leopard gecko this weekend at Tinley Park. He's my 4th reptile, the first three being a Corn snake, Ball Python, and Crested Gecko (in that order). This little guy was too cute to pass up, and he was sold to me as an albino. I know there is another forum for asking about morphs but to me he looks like he might be a Rainwater albino. What do you think? He doesn't have a name yet, but he will get one as soon as I can find one that fits him!

    welcome to GU!
I don't think there's any way to tell which albino strain he is just by looking. I would have said Tremper, but I'm not that familiar with Rainwaters except to know that they're less common than Trempers. Did you get him from a breeder? If so, can you contact the breeder and ask?

The best way of knowing which strain of albino is to ask the breeder. I have a male that looks a LOT like that one and it's a Tremper, however, he might very well be a rainwater (yours). Breeders in expos (specially a large one like Tinley park) often know the genetics of what they sell.
    He is very cute regardless
