    Hi all,
Like I said in the title, it's been a while since I stopped in. I am now because my neice has picked up her first leo and I wanted to see if this was still an active site before I steered her this way. I'm glad to see that it is, and that so many of the OG are still active here! Hopefully, she will see her way here, and join in all the fun and learning taking place with you all!

    Best,
    Todd

Thanks so much for sharing GU with your niece, Todd! It's been ages! I look forward to seeing her posts and meeting her leo. Please give me a heads up when she joins. Geckos Unlimited far exceeds FB groups, especially because there's a search feature.

How have you been doing? A few days ago I signed up for Oregon's Phase 2 covid injections. I will be notified when the time's right.

    Happy 2021!

    Best,
    Liz

Hello Elizabeth! I will let you know if and when she signs up, if that happens. I know they like to minimize their digital footprint, but we shall see.

Good luck with the COVID vaccine. I've had COVID twice now! The first time, in July, I really didn't get sick, was tested because of exposure from a co-worker and was surprised when it came back positive, then a couple days later a headache and sore throat came along. The second time, around Halloween, I was very sick and lost my sense of smell. Anyway, I now have antibodies, so the vaccine is low priority for me, and due to my age, won't be available for a few months anyway.

Good to hear from you, I'll try to be less scarce around here!

    Cheers,
    Todd

Thanks so much, Todd! That sounds like a good plan.

Do you still have your snakes?

    More cheers,
    Liz

How about leaving the COVID discussion to PMs, and sticking to gecko stuff, here. It's a gecko intro subforum, that stuff is way too O/T for here. Most people would want to keep the COVID info private, instead of having search engines pick it up to spread around the internet.

No, when I moved out here I re-homed all of my pets and have not gotten any more. We have a lot of native herps here though, which I've gotten to enjoy. This past summer I came across a ten foot bull snake during a hike, and spent about an hour with it before we went our separate ways!
