hi i just got an undertank heater and have trouble setting it up.
so i heard from a few people that its not recommended to take the peel off and stick it to the tank. and that you put a tin foil on the sticky part. how then would i put it on?? and mine doesnt seem to have an adjustable temperature..

UTH's don't come with a rheostat or thermostat. You need to connect it to one. You can buy an inexpensive one by the same company that made your UTH.

Remove the paper and stick it to the under side of the tank. It's fine. When mine start to peel off I put foil tape on top of it to get it to stick on.

Post #1, yes you can remove it, but you cannot restick it without using electrical tape or foil tape.

Post #2 yes. You need it.

Post #3 with it on a control you're fine.
