    Hello!

I recently acquired a new leopard gecko, she is an albino! She is beautiful!
However, I'm not sure what kind she is. I will post some pictures up for you guys to have a look and see if you can confirm for me.

She just wouldn't sit still so a picture of her eye is completely out of the question, I can confirm that it is a silvery-grey colour with a couple of red veins.

She also has a light orange band around the base of her tail, it might be hard to see from the pictures, but it is definatley there.

I think she looks amazing! Please help me out guys.

Thank you! I turned the flash off for these pictures, just took them near a window, her eyes are way more sensitive than any albino I have ever known :P

It could also be stress. The closed eyes in a reptile is kind of the same thing as in kids when they get scared at night - if I can't see it, maybe it won't hurt me. If you only just got it (not sure how "recently" you mean), it could be that.

I would say Tremper too, but I am not an expert on morphs, so take that with a grain of salt.

here is a rainwater versus a tremper picture. rainwater shows yellow and pink, no browns, tremper shows more browns.

I've had her for around a week or so, but I have noticed at night time when I have a quick peek into her vivarium to see what she is doing she will stare at me and then lunge towards me as if I'm a cricket, and unless it's 100% darkness she has next to no chance of catching a cricket. Kinda cute at times, but she is 8 months old so she should have some sort of tolerance to the light by now :S

How long she's around it won't really change anything. For example, because of some weird genetic thing, my eyes are hypersensitive to light. They've always been that way, and nothing will make me more "tolerant" of light. It's just how my eyes are. She might be the same way, though I'd be inclined to believe red eyes would be more sensitive to light than the grey you're describing. A vitamin A deficiency could result in vision problems though.
