That's excellent news! Answers are ALWAYS better than no answers.

My fingers ARE crossed for both of you.

So I found this nifty syringe with a curved tip that I was able to use to remove some of the white tissue growth from his right side. These were just some of the bigger chunks that came out. I'm leaving the other side for the vet to see on Tuesday

    Wow!

Did you save these chunks for the vet? He may remove the other chunks to culture and because they're causing pressure and probably uncomfortable.

    Let us know the diagnosis.

So we went to the vets tonight. She described the white growths as "organized puss" and she thinks he has a mouth rot type infection (sorry if that doesn't sound right). She gave me some antiseptic to flush the pockets where the puss was forming in his jaw, some antibiotics, and some eye drops to help with his eye. Fingers crossed that this works.

Thanks for sharing. Did the vet remove as much of the pus as she could?

Sometimes antibiotics take away the appetite.

My fingers are also crossed that he'll make a complete recovery.

As you mentioned, Gizmo is not interested in eating now that he's on antibiotics. I am thinking of ordering some Oxbow Carnivore Care and feeding him that while he is on antibiotics. He is just getting more and more lethargic
