The tip of my six month ol leopard geckos tail is red and squished. She also has white oatches near the tip of her tail. They look thin or maybjust be attabted to her tail as a oart if her taul.
But im most worried aboit thw redness kn her tail. Is it something to be worried about?

See if you can figure out why this happened: did the gecko get its tail caught (is there anything in the cage that's dangerous), is there a part of the cage that's too hot?
It's likely that the tip of the tail will eventually fall off. This has happened with a few of mine. If the discoloration starts to spread up the tail or if the gecko gets red streaks up the tail, it will need to see a reptile vet regardless of whether you have enough money for that.
Meanwhile, keep it clean and keep an eye on it.

I dont think so. Maybe it got caught underneath a hide but theres nothing i can really do about that. But another site, a vet responded, said it was an injury or something that got worse and infected. Could that be it?
And im taking her to the vet tomorrow.

Great, I'm glad the gecko is going to the vet. I have had it happen a few times that the tail tip got like that for no known reason. Ultimately the tail tip fell off and everything was OK, but a vet visit is a good "better safe than sorry" strategy.

How is Calypso doing? What did the vet recommend?

It sounds irritated, maybe a vet trip is in order. What are the temperatures?
