    Exclamation Impaction?

Hello all! i have a few questions that some of you may know the answers to! I got my boy about 2 months ago, and in the past few days he has seemed a bit slower than normal, (He is a 6 year old Leopard gecko called gordon) The previous owner had him on Calci sand and ive been swapping his substrate to newspaper (for impaction safety)... Anyway, he seems to be sleeping more, and hiding away on his heatmat more... and just all in all being a bit slower when i get him out...

its winter here so the temperature has dropped a bit, and i was wondering if thats causing tiredness? or wether he could be impacted? His stomach isnt hard, but it isnt squishy, id say its plump, his tail is slightly narrower than his head, and his stomach isnt round! He's still pooping most nights,

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

If it's pooping, it isn't impacted.
A winter slowdown is normal and expected. If the appetite drops off to nothing, increasing the heat is probably a good idea, but otherwise, all sounds normal.
